Letzter Newsletter zur 8. Eurotour
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
liebe Eurobiker und Freunde,
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
dear Eurobikers and friends,
das Roadbook für die 8.Eurotour der Eurobiker vom 22. bis 29.5.10 ist fertig, Hotels sind gebucht, die Motorräder werden technisch geprüft und noch einmal geputzt. Die Ladeaktivitäten für den Spendentransport haben ebenso begonnen. Knapp 70 Motorradfahrerinnen und -fahrer werden am heute in 1 Woche von München aus nach Zagreb starten, wo am Sonntag-Morgen zusammen mit Eurobikern aus Kroatien, Bosnien und Albanien die 8.Eurotour der Eurobiker zum Kosovo startet. Sie führt die Motorrad-Gruppen durch schönste Regionen des Balkan, u.a. wird die Tara-Schlucht durchfrahren, der "Gran Canyon Europas".
the roadbook for the 8th Eurotour from May 22nd to 29th is ready, the booking for the hotels is finished, the motorcycles checked and cleaned. The loading of the big trailers has started. Nearly 70 motorcyclists will start in 1 week in Munich to Zagreb, where they will meet the Eurobikers from Croatia, Bosnia and Albania to start to the Kosovo. The 8th Eurotour is guiding them through most beautiful regions of the Balcan, for example through the Taras canyon, the "Gran Canyon" of Europe.
Die 7 LKWs des Spendentransportes werden eine andere Route nehmen (müssen), doch zum Start in Zagreb werden auch sie zugegen sein und am Pfingst-Sonntag abend feiern alle zusammen auf Einladung unser kroatischen Freunde in Slavonski Brod ein Bikerfest. Danach trennen sich wieder die Wege der beiden Tourteile, um am Ziel im Kosovo wieder zusammen zu kommen. Am Mittwoch, den 26.5. wird das der Fall sein.
The charity convoy with his 7 trucks has to take another route, but they will come to the International Start in Zagreb as well as to the biker's party in Slavonski Brod on Whitsun evening. Our Croatian friends has invited all participiants of the tour and the convoy for this party, thankyou very much for that. After this evening the motorcyclists and the convoy will take different ways coming together again in the Kosovo at Wendsday 26th.
An diesem Tag wird eine Delegation der dann mit kosovarischen und bulgarischen Eurobiker verstärkten Reisegruppe vom Präsidenten des Kosovo Dr.Fatmir Sejdiu empfangen werden, am Abend wird für alle ein Volksfest in der Altstadt von Prizren stattfinden. Die LKWs werden dann in Prishtina bereits entladen worden sein, deren Chauffeure freuen sich, dann am Abend auf dem Fest wieder mit allen zusammen zu sein.
On this day a delegation of the Eurobikers, then additional grown with the friends from Bulgaria and naturaly with the Kosovarian Eurobikers will be welcomed by the President of the Kosovo Dr.Fatmir Sejdiu. In the evening there will be a big festival in the center of Prizren. The trucks already will be unloaded at this time and the truckdrivers will be happy to take part in this party.
Ein großartiges Projekt steht kurz vor seiner Umsetzung. Es waren viele engagierte Menschen vonnöten, um es zu verwirklichen: Ideengeber, Organisatoren, Spender und Helfer. Allen sei für das Zustandekommen herzlich gedankt. Dass die diesjährige Sammel-Aktion so erfolgreich verlaufen ist, haben wir im besonderen den Spendern zu verdanken, neben vielen Einzelspendern sind es in diesem Jahr verschiedene Krankenhäuser des St. Franziskusordens sowie der LWL-Klinik in Gütersloh. Wir danken im besonderen den Spediteuren und Fuhrunternehmen, die uns schon so lange Zeit mit „Hardware“ und Logistik unterstützen, allen voran Fritz Hamann aus Holzminden, Richard Witte aus Zeven und Roland Oehlrich aus Verden, der als Eurobiker auch die Tour auf dem Motorrad mitfährt. Wir danken dem Gesamtverband Verkehrsgewerbe Niedersachsen, GF Gert Ibrügger, der wieder einmal alle Hebel in Bewegung setzte, weiterhin IVECO Deutschland, die in Kooperation mit Auflieger-Hersteller Krone einen Zug stellen und dessen Marketing-Chef Manfred Kuchlmayr es sich nicht nehmen ließ, den Zug selbst zu fahren zusammen mit dem „Truck-of-the-Year“-Journalisten Oliver Willms. Ebenso bekamen wir 2 Auflieger von der Vermietungsfirma "Euroleasing" in Sittensen gestellt, danke dafür. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei unserem stetigen Partner „Arbeiter-Samariterbund“, Region Hannover; Jens Meier organisierte spontan die noch fehlenden 3 Züge und Holger Bade ist - wie immer – heiß glühend mit Tat und administrativer Hilfe dabei, Dir vielen Dank.
A big event just will happen in the next days. A lot of people gave their support therefore: people with ideas, supporting in the organization, giving the donations and some money and some people, who helped by loadíng and so on. We want to thank all of them.We got a lot of donations, hospital equipment and medical machines especially from the hospitals of the Order of St. Franziskus and from the LWL-Hospital in Gütersloh. We want to thank very much for the support of the trucking companies of Fritz Hamann (Holzminden), Richard Witte (Zeven) and Roland Oehlrich (Verden), Roland also is Eurobiker and will drive with his motorcycle to the Kosovo. We want to thank for support of the association of the trucking companies in Niedersachsen (federal state of Germany), manager Gert Ibrügger, as well as the manufacturers of IVECO trucks, who also gave a truck for the transport together with Krone, they gave the trailer; also we got 2 trailers from Euroleasing, rental company in Sittensen, thankyou for that. The chief of the German marketing department of IVECO, Manfred Kuchlmayr, is looking forward to drive the truck himself together with the journalist of "Truck of the Year", Oliver Willms. We want to thank also very, very much our continously partner the German welfare organisation "Arbeiter-Samariterbund" with its settlement in the region of Hannover in Barsinghausen. Its manager Jens Meier quickly organized the 3 more nescessary trucks, and Holger Bade is present and giving support everytime for adminstration work and more, thankyou Holger.
Das Gesamtprojekt wird getragen von den Eurobikern mit seinem Hilfsverein Eurobiker Charity in Kooperation mit dem Verein "Lachen-Helfen e.v.". Wir möchten und bei dieser Vereinigung deutscher Soldaten und Bundespolizisten sehr herzlich bedanken, erst deren finanzielle Unterstützung machte die Durchführung dieses Transportes möglich.
The charity project is supported by the Eurobikers, the Eurobiker charity association and is standing cooperation with "Lachen Helfen e.V.". We want kindly to thank this association of German soldiers and policemen, because without their financial support it would not be able to make this transport.
