Consumer Electronics Show: Safran to Showcase GNSS Simulation Technology During Indy Autonomous Challenge January 7th, 2023

Las Vegas, January 3rd, 2023

One of the major highlights will be the Indy Autonomous Challenge at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday, January 7th. Nine fully autonomous racecars representing colleges and universities from around the world will take part in a head-to-head driverless racing competition roaring at speeds of more than 190 mph: The Indy Autonomous Challenge at CES.

Safran is sponsoring the Autonomous Tiger Racing team from Auburn University. They’re using Orolia’s Skydel GNSS simulation technology to test the vehicle under various scenarios and conditions. Skydel also detects signal interference from jamming and spoofing.
