Boss by Affiliation Artist Kuextion Releases 'Backend'

Dallas, December 21, 2021

Hip Hop artist Kuextion has released his first official music video for his new single "Backend" on Dec. 9, 2021, just in time to announce his early 2022 debut Album "Hustler's Nights", inspired by experiences in life that have pushed him to go make it happen.

The track evokes positive emotions, from the beat selection to the riveting flow. Kuextion makes it easy for listeners to jam to something that they can relate to and feel good while doing it. He expresses his day-to-day hustle and lifestyle but reminds his audience to play hard too with lines like "We just ain't sleeping, we been up midnight creeping, tryna break even, get it in the evening, now I gotta make it to the weekend, then I go tweaking". Everyone has been there before. Kuextion's motto is work hard play hard as a reminder of his purpose.

The soon-to-be iconic official visual was co-directed by Kuextion and Yassien Fadul and features an appearance by Yungsmooveszn. The visual, whose storyline comes straight out of the mind of Kuextion himself, takes a cinematic journey from the BBA studio into the city of Dallas, Texas. This is a visual representation of the young artist's go-getter viewpoint and a taste of what's to come in the artist's 2022 debut album.

About Kuextion

Shumirai Tsikada (born Feb. 3, 1998), better known by his stage name Kuextion, is a Zimbabwean native rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. Kuextion initially went by the stage name kue$tion early on in his career, then he decided to take on the alias of shum as he attended his freshman year of college, this was a nickname given by a childhood friend. Over time, he reverted to his original moniker and added a slight enhancement. Ultimately the result became Kuextion, as it gives off a mysterious connotation. Growing up in a small town in the DFW area, Kuextion took a liking to an array of sounds, with early Texas influences such as Erykah Badu, Travis Scott and many more. Kuextion's style became a unique blend. He has since acquired a label called Boss By Affiliation (A. K. A. BBA) with long-time partner Jared Brewer, in which he will be releasing "Hustler's Nights" in early 2022.
